Straight answers, up front.
Everything local businesses and bands ask before booking the free audit. If your question is not here, ask it directly.
Your footage, your call.
Who owns the footage?
You do. Every raw clip and every finished cut is yours, delivered each month, yours to keep and use however you want. Part of working together is that Dawn Infinite Labs can also use the footage in our portfolio, on this website, and in our ads, so other businesses can see what the work looks like. You own it. We get to show it off.
Can we run the videos as ads?
Yes. You own everything, including the right to run it as paid creative. The Dominant tier includes tested ad variants each month, cut from your real footage. Lower tiers can add the ad creative pack.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Plenty of high-performing local content never shows a face: the work, the process, the before and after, customer reactions, the shop itself. If you want to be the face of your business, we will direct you. If not, we build the content around what you are comfortable with.
Commitment, cost, and posting.
Is there a contract?
Yes, a simple month-to-month agreement. It spells out your shoot day, your deliverables, and your ownership, and it renews monthly. No annual lock-in, no setup fee, no cancellation penalty. Leave anytime, and everything we have shot and edited for you stays yours.
How much does it cost?
Quoted after your free audit. A restaurant shoot and a roofing company shoot are different days, so flat pricing would be dishonest. Every tier costs less than a part-time hire and produces more than one. The audit is free, and the quote comes with the plan. See how a quote gets built.
Do you travel outside Central Illinois?
Yes. Home base is Central Illinois, and I shoot anywhere in the continental United States. Travel and accommodations are covered by the client, and they're quoted up front in your audit, never a surprise after the fact.
Can you post for us and manage our social media?
Yes, for an additional fee. You always get every finished video plus a posting calendar, and posting yourself takes minutes. If you'd rather be hands-off, we schedule everything to your channels with captions and hashtags, and handle the day-to-day management of the accounts.
What do you need from us each month?
About three hours: one planning call, the shoot day itself, and one review pass on the edits. We handle concepts, filming, editing, captions, and the calendar.
How it runs.
How fast do we start?
Audit this week, shoot day within two weeks of kickoff, first videos delivered within days of the shoot.
What if I hate the first batch?
Then we fix it before you pay for month two. The revision round is built into the process, and the monthly review exists so the content keeps moving toward what works. If it is not working, you walk with your footage library.
What if a video flops?
Some will. That is the math of short-form: most videos do steady work, a few break out, and the monthly review shows which hooks your audience responds to. Then we make more of those. Volume plus iteration beats chasing one perfect video.
Will this work for my industry?
If your customers are on TikTok, Reels, or Shorts, and your work looks good on camera, yes. Restaurants, shops, trades, salons, gyms, venues, bands, services. The free audit will tell you straight if you are not a fit.
We're a band, not a shop. Does this work?
Yes. The calendar is built around releases instead of seasons: performance clips, rehearsal and studio footage, lyric visualizers, show announcements, and music video cutdowns for vertical. Scheduled around your gigs and sessions.
Find out what a month of content could do for you.
The free content audit looks at your channels, your competitors, and what your customers actually watch. Then we show you exactly what we would film, cut, and post in your first 30 days. No pitch deck. No obligation.
